[19 September 2012]

On 28 September the desktop Endnote software will be removed from the staff and student remote desktop. Due to a number of issues regarding performance and licence agreements it has been decided that it is no longer possible to offer this service.

The recommendation for taught students is that they use EndNote web, which is free to use whilst a student. EndNote web is accessed from www.myendnoteweb.com.

If you are currently using the Endnote desktop version in the remote desktop you will need to create an account in Endnote web service. You will then need to transfer existing libraries from the desktop version to the web version prior to the removal of this service at the end of September. Instructions for transferring libraries can be found on the IT Services website.
