Latest upgrades to SITS Vision, 22-25 July

Update, 17:00, 22 July: It seems that the SITS downtime has had a knock on effect to the mailing list system (Sympa).  All messages to University mailing lists from 13:30 on 22 July may not been delivered and individuals will need to check messages and resend if necessary.  We advise resending after SITS returns to service on Monday 25 July.

SITS software is upgraded on a regular basis to ensure the University complies with the latest requirements on our external interfaces to e.g. HESA, UCAS, SLC, etc.  and also to provide the most up to date functionality to our users.

Version 8.4.0 - this is the next SITS upgrade and is planned to take place over the weekend of 22  to 25 July.   This upgrade includes changes to the SITS database.  Exceptionally, to ensure the maximum support from key Information Systems staff this upgrade will start at 1.00 pm on the Friday.  Access to the SITS client and eVision will be restored on Monday 25 July.
