I hold regular office hours in our IT rooms, W214, by the main entrance.

Please drop by if you want to discuss your plans or find out where to start with something.

Suggested topics include:

• Medium/long term plans: lab moves, new starters etc.
• Find out about recommended hardware / browse possibilities
• Estimating IT costs for grant proposals
• Storage of research data
• Questions about whether something is possible

Please continue to log routine requests and report malfunctions via the Service Desk.

You are welcome to copy me in to your Service Desk email or come see us in person in if your request is urgent.

Please also feel free to drop by our offices at any time to ask a question or chat - but be aware that we may ask you to log a Service Desk call if follow-up work is required or we need to record a request.
