The 24-hour Computer Room is open 24/7, for all students to use.

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving IT facilities for students, the 24-hour computer room has been extended and fully refurbished during the summer vacation. This includes 62 new computers, a quiet room at the rear of the main room and new furniture and decor.

 



 




Printing

All printers in the Computer Centre are on the PAS scheme.

Wireless printing is available around the University. It enables you to print from wireless enabled devices.

24-hour Computer Room

Open access

A quiet computer lab open 24-hours every day, with 62 Windows computers plus wireless coverage. Scanners are available from the Service Desk during normal opening hours.

General information

Directions
The 24-hour computer room is on the first floor, opposite the Service Desk. Follow signs within the building.
Description
Large computer room open 24-hours a day. For access outside portered hours staff and students will need to use their University UCard. Scanners are available from the Service Desk during normal opening hours on a first come, first served basis.
Rules
No food or drink - Bottled water only
Report faults to the:
  • Service Desk - For any computer problems
  • Porter - For all other issues
  • In case of emergency, use the telephone by the door to contact security on extension 112233
Toilets are on the same floor
