How do I set my normal working hours?

Your normal working hours will be shown in your agenda as white, other hours in grey. You can't set the working hours for any day of the week to "none", so set the hours on your days off to one minute at midnight. It is useful for anyone who has the right to view your agenda to see non-working time in grey.

This defines the times that will be searched when you use the Suggest Date/Time command to find when you are free while creating a meeting. The other people's defined working hours are not taken into account by the Suggest Date/Time command.

To make changes to your working hours:

  • Click on Tools/Options.
  • Double-click on Scheduling.
  • Select Hours.
  • Select Monday and set your Normal and Extended hours for Mondays.
  • If the same applies to all days, click Apply to All, or set each day's times separately.
  • Tick Gray outside normal hours to have non-working hours shown in grey in your agenda.
  • Click on OK.
