What server and node number do I need to enter when setting up my PDA synchronisation software?

Quick answer - server is calendar.bris.ac.uk, node number is 100.

When you install the PDA synchronisation software you will be asked for a server name and a 'node'

In all cases the server name you need to use to connect to the University of Bristol Calendar service is calendar.bris.ac.uk. For most people using the more recent version of the Calendar pda synchronisation software that is all you will need to enter as you node number will be automagically detected.

In some cases, particularly if you are making the connection from home, this automatic detection will not be successful and you will need to enter the node number of 100.

A few users are on nodes other than 100:

• ILRT - node 102
• Personnel, VC's office, Public relations - node 101
