Connecting Outlook 2007 to Oracle Calendar

You can download, install and configure the Oracle Connector for Outlook on your home computer so that you can use Outlook with email and Oracle Calendar.
Please note: if offsite, you will need to login to the UoB virtual private network (VPN) to be able to download the required Calendar client.

You will also subsequently need to login to the UoB VPN before starting Outlook each time you use it, otherwise you will see a message telling you that Outlook could not connect to the Calendar server.  If you do not use the UoB VPN, entries made in your Outlook calendar will not be added to your UoB Calendar.  Similarly, your Outlook calendar will not show any meetings that you have been invited to by others using the UoB Calendar.
