Mulberry
Mulberry 4, the University's recommended email client, is being replaced by MS Outlook as the University switches to a Google based service. Mulberry 4 can be used on personally owned computers, but note that local folders and local address books should not be used either at work or at home because of legal and security issues.
To use Mulberry, use the icon on your desktop or find it in 'Start' / 'All Programs'. Outlook, if you have it installed, is accessed via the 'Microsoft Office 2007' (or similarly-named) folder in 'Start' / 'All Programs'. If you have Thunderbird installed, you probably already know how to access it!
