Konqueror (KDE 3) - Proxy configuration instructions

Follow these instructions whilst running Konqueror (KDE 3) to configure the browser to use the local web proxy server.

Please refer to the main proxy configuration page for details of how to configure other web browsers.

1. In a browser window, from the Settings drop down menu select Configure Konqueror and then Proxy
2. Make sure the Use the following proxy configuration URL option is selected, then type
   http://wwwcache.bris.ac.uk/autoconfig
   in the box
3. Click OK
   The Automatic Configuration panel should now look similar to this:
