A list of software which has been reported not to work correctly with the off-site proxy appears below. Please note: that this is information received from users, and should not be considered complete or necessarily accurate. Please report any other software that causes problems to the maintainer of this page using the link at the bottom of the page.
Please also check the network configuration issues page if you are using AOL or a corporate/institutional network.

"FTP Folders" do not work correctly with authentication. Work around this by choosing Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and uncheck the box labelled "Enable folder view for FTP sites". (Please note: some users have reported that this box must be checked instead. If one setting doesn't work, please try the other). |

To use the proxy, you must enter your username with UOB\ in front of it. For example, if your username is ab1234, enter UOB\ab1234.
Please be aware you may also need to Delete Cookies to get this working. To delete cookies in Internet Explorer: Click Tools on menu bar and from the drop down menu choose Internet Options. In the window that opens select the General tab and then choose the section labelled Temporary Internet files. Click on the button labelled "delete Cookies", then click OK and OK again to return the main IE screen. |
