Do I have to pay for ResNet Wireless?

The simple answer is no. ResNet wireless (where available) if free to use but you do need to activate each device the first time you use it.

I'm getting poor ResNet Wireless signal - what's wrong?

We have spent lots of money getting wireless ResNet into a majority of ResNet properties but a very small number of rooms unfortunately have poor signal quality due to building fabric and distance to the Wireless Access Point (WAP). This problem is not simple to overcome as you'd think the best solution would be to install more WAPs but this can actually degrade performance for other users. If you find you have poor signal then please get in touch, giving us your room number. If you find that wireless signal is low then your best option is to use ResNet wired instead.

I have Windows XP. How do I make it forget my ResNet Wireless password?

Once you have successfully entered your username and password for ResNet Wireless, Windows XP will remember it forever. In order to delete your credentials from your computer, please follow these instructions from Microsoft’s web site or run this: Delete Windows XP EAP Credentials Program.
