ResNet Wireless

ResNet Wireless provides wireless access in your room, in addition to the wired ResNet socket. Wireless is ideal if you want to connect more than one computer, or a wireless-only device. It is also convenient to wander between your study/bedroom and communal areas.

ResNet Wireless is currently available in about 70% of our accommodation. Check the list of all ResNet locations to see if your residence has wireless. ResNet Wireless is included in all ResNet subscriptions. Please see our ResNet packages page for details.

In addition the eduroam wireless service is free to use for all students. It is available in hundreds of locations including all university libraries, hall JCRs/bars and in most departments.

How do I get connected?

• Pick ResNet-Setup from the list of available wireless networks
• Go to http://go.resnet.bris.ac.uk and follow the on screen instructions
