All of the University halls of residence and student houses in the Accommodation Prospectus provide ResNet Internet access in student study bedrooms. This includes all rooms for new full-time undergraduate, Study Abroad and International Foundation programme students who meet the terms of the Accommodation Guarantee.
All subscribers have a choice of two ResNet packages, ResNet Standard & ResNet Max. Over 70% of rooms also have ResNet Wireless, and this is extended further each year.
If you are unsure whether ResNet is available in your residence please see the complete list of residences where ResNet is available.
Around the campus, all students can connect to wireless hotspots in libraries and other locations with a notebook computer, smartphone, or other mobile devices.
Most students live in private rented accommodation in their second and third years. ResNet is not available to to students in private-sector accommodation, but broadband Internet is available from many third-party providers. See information about broadband to help you choose.
Once you have Internet access you can then connect to various University resources using facilities for offsite users.
