Wired ResNet gives you 55Mbps symmetric, that's 55Mbps Download and 55Mbps Upload, which is faster access than BT Infinity Broadband (which gives you 40Mbps download speed, and 10Mbps upload). It's a little harder to give speeds of Wireless ResNet as there are so many factors that can slow things down, that said, under the right conditions you should get the same as wired ResNet.
ResNet Wireless is available in some residences. It provides wireless Internet in study bedrooms and kitchens, in addition to the wired ResNet sockets in bedrooms. Wireless ResNet is included free of charge with your ResNet subscription. ResNet Wireless is currently available in about 70% of residences, and coverage is extended each year.
If you will be in residence for just one or two terms you can subscribe at a cost of £25 per term for ResNet Standard and £30 per term for ResNet Max.
If you will only be in residence for one or two weeks, or arrive a week or two before the end of the term, you can also pay for ResNet on a weekly basis. The cost of £8/week for ResNet standard or £10/week for ResNet Max. If you are in residence for three or more weeks it is cheaper to buy ResNet for the whole term.
