Cyber criminals use online messages, texts or emails to access or steal personal and business information.

At the University, the Information Security team and IT Services identify and stop many cyber threats every year. However, everyone in the University should be careful when opening emails.

Many online phishing attempts are highly sophisticated. They use company logos and branding, and links that seem to take you through to a company's official website.
