Skills, Knowledge & Experience

My experience covers a range of languages (Java,PHP,Javascript), platforms (LAMP, Tomcat, Zope, AppEngine) and technologies (XFORMS, RDF, CI). I primarily work on web-based open source systems. I have written a number of applications from scratch using technologies such as Spring, JSP, Gaelyk & SPARQL, including University-wide eLearning solutions. I have devised multi-site Drupal architectures with accompanying deployment scripts.

I advocate test-driven development methadologies wherever possible.

My personal interests include security, Android development and cloud architectures. 

I am equally at home on Windows, Unix and Mac platforms.
