"I believe recognizing mental health as an essential part of our day to day life, as much as physical health, and put appropriate support mechanisms into place at work and at home. Based on my own experiences balancing work and private life was already a challenge at the beginning of 2020, and for many, a global pandemic has turned what once was a challenge into a struggle. The coming years will highlight the full impact of Covid-19 and the new virtual working environment on our health. In the meantime, I strongly believe, that we need an open mind, ear and heart to anticipate potential arising mental health issues, to hear colleagues and friends new or growing concerns and to support the people around us with empathy and honesty."
