Visiting the Department of History
Prospective students are welcome to visit the Department but please note that we are unable to deal with ad hoc visits. However, we will be happy to meet you on either the University Open Day or the Department's own 'Post Offer Visit Days'.
University Open Day
Held twice a year in June and September this is a chance for any potential student to visit the Department and the University. Departmental staff are on hand to describe our programmes and answer enquiries from potential applicants. Post Offer Visit Days
These provide a chance for students who have received offers from the Department to visit us, meet staff, talk to current students, learn more about what we do and ask questions about our degree programme. These event are held in March and April. Attendance is by invitation only. All applicants holding offers will be sent an invitation beforehand.
