Introduction to Building Web Components

You may have seen the term "Web Components" bandied around a lot in recent times - especially amongst front-end web developers.

But what are web components? What technologies make up a web component? How should we use them in our projects?

In this hands-on workshop, we will cover the essentials of what makes up a web component, and then we'll make some ourselves!

You will need:

- A laptop
- Your favourite IDE

Nice to have:

- A working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript

You will learn about:

- The Shadow DOM
- Web component compatibilities and polyfills
- JavaScript Classes
