If an international placement is not the right option for you, there are still plenty of ways to spend time overseas developing new skills and gaining valuable experience.

Bristol Interns in China

Spend eight weeks in Shenzen, China on a unique opportunity to experience life overseas, enhance employability and develop cross-cultural skills. 

GO China programme

Explore China’s capital and take your studies in a new direction with either an intensive language and culture programme or an engineering programme  - both hosted by the Beijing Institute of Technology.

International Leadership Programme

Take part in a four-day programme in Chicago, working with students from the University of Chicago to tackle a local issue and simultaneously explore global challenges.

An excellent way to broaden your academic horizons and access the study abroad experience without the time commitment of a semester or year overseas.

Scholarships

We offer 80 scholarships of up to £500 each to University of Bristol students undertaking short-term international activities, either independently or through a University programme.
