Dr Mark Jackson's keynote lecture warmly received at international conference
20 April 2018
On the 13th of April 2018, Mark Jackson presented the invited keynote lecture to the ‘2nd International Conference on Postcolonial Theory and Practice in the 21st Century’.
The conference was held this year at the University of Rzeszow in Rzeszow, Poland. The theme of the conference focused on the intersections of posthumanism, postcolonialism, and decoloniality, themes that are developed in Mark’s new book Coloniality, Ontology, and the Question of the Posthuman (Routledge, 2018).
The keynote lecture went very well and was warmly received. The conference itself was an interesting and productive space to build ideas and links with supportive international colleagues from across the social sciences and humanities.
