Athena Swan Bronze award for Geographical Sciences

The School of Geographical Sciences is delighted to announce that it has been awarded an Athena Swan Bronze award.
The Athena Swan Bronze award recognises the School's commitment to advancing women's careers in Higher Education STEMM (science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine) subjects. It covers women in academic roles; the progression of students into academia and the working environment for all staff. As part of the submission the School was required to submit a detailed plan of the actions it proposes to put in place over the next three years.
