| Abstract |
Education today is in a state of turmoil, with numerous issues being widely debated, but none more so than the widening gap in access to, and outcomes from, education. At this exciting event, a panel of invited speakers with policy, practice and academic expertise will debate the state of education today and where it might lead in future, with a focus on inequality and social justice. They will include Professor Stephen Ball of the Institute of Education, University of London, and Professor Rosamund Sutherland, from the Graduate School of Education, University of Bristol, as well as Annie Hudson, Strategic Director, Children, Young People and Skills, Bristol City Council. |
