Proactis 2012 Upgrade Testing

We are planning to upgrade our installation of Proactis to the 2012 version of the software on 31st May 2012.
Proactis 2012 provides the opportunity to deliver a number of improvements to functionality, which will be phased in gradually over the course of the year. The upgraded software also includes some fixes to bugs that we are currently experiencing in the 2010 version that is currently installed.
How You Can Help
Proactis 2012 is being tested by the Systems & Processes team in Finance Services but we would also like input from other users across the University. Staff from Schools, Support Divisions and Faculty Finance teams are all welcome to take part. To facilitate this we are going to hold a series of User Acceptance Testing events, as follows:
- Monday 2nd April 2012 - 9.30 am to 12.00 pm, Computer Centre, Ground Floor Training Room
- Monday 2nd April 2012 - 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm, Computer Centre, First Floor Training Room
- Friday, 11th May 2012 - 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm, Computer Centre, Ground Floor Training Room
This is a great opportunity to see the new version of the product ahead of its release and to help us spot any anomolies in the system before we go live.
