Said Foundation Scholarships

Scholarships for postgraduate taught students from Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria.

Who should apply?

You can apply for a Said Foundation Scholarship if you are a prospective postgraduate taught student from one of the following countries:

  • Jordan
  • Lebanon
  • Palestine
  • Syria

Candidates must also hold the equivalent of a UK undergraduate 2:1 degree or higher to apply.

How do I apply?

What is it?

The scholarships are fully funded and include:

  • tuition fees
  • an arrival allowance
  • maintenance/living costs for the duration of your course
  • an economy return flight
  • a thesis allowance
  • visa and healthcare surcharge fees.

Qualifying Programmes

There are no restrictions on the programme of study, however priority will be given to candidates who can show that their chosen subject will allow them to contribute to the development of their home country.

When is the deadline?

Application for 2020/21 Scholarships are now closed.

Further details on applications for 2021/22 entry will be available on the Said Foundation website from July 2020.

Said Foundation scholarships aim to empower exceptional individuals demonstrating leadership potential and the ability to drive change within the eligible countries.
