The Unistats website (launched in autumn 2007), www.unistats.com, is an on-line resource that gives easy access to official information about the quality of Higher Education in the UK. The site is designed to assist prospective higher education students and their advisers to make informed decisions about what and where to study.
Publication of the data was initiated by changes to quality assurance arrangements for HE in the UK, which have sought to provide more useful information to applicants and others.
The Unistats site replaces the Teaching Quality Information (TQi) website which has been frozen since December 2006.
