On both pathways staff must also produce a Portfolio; on the Accredited Pathway, the Portfolio is assessed using the same criteria as Modules 1 to 5 and also carries 10 credits.
You may complete an Option Module/s for professional development.
If you are following the accredited pathway, the Option Modules will not contribute to the PGCertHE, however, through successful completion of Option Modules further credits can be gained and may be used to progress to PG Diploma.
The Open module is designed to allow participants to choose an area of study connected with teaching and learning in higher education. Currently, there are two ways to undertake the Open module:
We are not currently offering teaching sessions for the modules listed below. However, they can be undertaken as supervised individual study and submitted under the Open Module.
