Blackboard is the University of Bristol's centrally supported online learning environment. Blackboard provides staff and students with access to a range of tools for communication, collaboration, and assessment as well as offering an online area to share resources like course notes and reading lists.
To log in to Blackboard directly go to http://www.ole.bris.ac.uk and enter your University username and password. Alternatively you can access Blackboard through the portal from http://www.bris.ac.uk/mybristol.
If you are a member of staff and need more information on creating or developing a Blackboard course please email bb-help@bristol.ac.uk.
If you are a student and find you are not enrolled on the courses in Blackboard you think you should be, we would advise you to contact your course instructor / lecturer in the first instance to check they are using Blackboard to support their teaching and learning.
We provide a range of support and training for staff including: a Blackboard helpdesk ('phone and email), individual training in departments on request, drop-ins, departmental surgeries (letting staff drop in to get help without booking), generic and departmental workshops, and small group training. For further information, or to arrange some help please email bb-help@bristol.ac.uk
We have a range of online support materials available for staff.
If you have difficulty accessing any of these resources or would like more help or advice please email bb-help@bristol.ac.uk.
