University Teaching Awards

The University recognises the effort of a number of individuals who support student education. The presentation of awards in a number of categories at the Learning and Teaching Exhibition provides an opportunity to recognise and celebrate these achievements.

University Teaching Awards: 2011-12

The Awards Scheme opened on the 9th January 2012, with the University deadline for nominations, including supporting statements, being 13th February 2012, though faculties will set their own deadlines for submission prior to this date.

The recipients of the Awards will be formally announced at the University's Learning and Teaching Exhibition which will take place on 27th March 2012.

The Awards will be presented in the following categories:

University Teaching and Learning Award nomination form [word, 64kb]

University Award for Influence in Higher Education *new* nomination form [word, 64kb]
University 'Education for Sustainability' Award *new* nomination form [word, 64kb]
University E-Learning Award nomination form [word, 64kb]

The University Engagement Award is awarded separately from the University Teaching Awards.

* From 2011-12, both academic and support staff can be nominated for a University Teaching and Learning Award.

The University Teaching Awards runs in parallel with the University's Teaching Fellowship Scheme.
