Code of Practice for provision of post-16 education
New regulations under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) for post-16 education came into force on 1 September 2006. The Commission for Equality and Human Rights has produced a revised Code of Practice for Providers of Post-16 Education, which provides guidance on the interpretation of the new duties.

Supporting disabled people in the workplace
The University's Personnel Department website provides guidance on how to support disabled people in the workplace. This guidance offers practical advice on how disabled staff can gain access to support in the workplace. Guidance for Admissions Tutors
This Guidance for Admissions Tutors offers staff practical advice in terms of encouraging students to disclose a disability (both pre- and post-admission ) and ensuring that wherever possible any reasonable adjustments are made to support those students' education.
