Tins and Cans

Food tins, drink cans, empty aerosols and tin foil can be placed with plastic bottles in the designated can and plastic bottle bins.  This is called a co-mingled collection; once the materials have been collected they are separated and bulked before recycling.

The bins are located in communal areas such as cafeterias and staff kitchens. If you do not have a can and plastic bin and would like one please contact: Sustainability-estates@bristol.ac.uk

Please ensure that all food tins are rinsed and drink cans empty before placing them in the recycling bins.
