Paper
Paper should be reused by using both sides before it is recycled. To recycle paper it needs to be placed in a blue paper recycling bin located within offices. The bins are emptied by Site Services as required into external paper recycling bins. You can recycle all paper in your blue recycling bin including.

- Coloured office paper
- Newspapers and magazines
- Pamphlets, brochures and leaflets
- Telephone Directories - small quantities only please, do not over load the bin with these as it could be a manual handing issue for the cleaners.*
- Post-it-notes
- Envelopes with and without windows
*If you have large volumes of books journals or publications, directories please contact sustainability-estates@bristol.ac.uk for a special collection.
Cleaners are NOT responsible for removing contamination from the recycling bins. If paper recycling bins are found to contain non-paper rubbish such as food waste then either the bin will not be emptied or it will be treated as general waste and sent to LANDFILL.
