Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride Award

University of Bristol Wins Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride Award

[06 August 2007]

As I’m sure you will all remember the annual Bristol’s Biggest Bike Ride took place on the 24th June. This year, for the first time, there was a Business Challenge component in which employers were invited to take part and compete against each other.

I’m pleased to announce that the University of Bristol won the award for the large business category. Amy Watts (Travel Plan Co-ordinator) collected the award on behalf of the University on the 1st August, which was presented by Nigel Hutchings, Business West (sponsor).

WINNERS

University of Bristol - Winner of the large (250+ employees) business size category

Hartnell Taylor Cook - Winner of the medium (50-249 employees) business size category

Byways and Highways - Winner of the small (0-49 employees) business size category

A BIG thank you goes to all that took part and I hope you do so again next year!
