Monitoring and Targeting

Sustainability is responsible for the management energy and water consumption in over 300 buildings. We have a sophisticated software package which enables to us to monitor utility consumption in a large number of these buildings as well as check our utility invoices to ensure we are not being overcharged.

We have been installing additional sub metering which will enable us to look more closely at energy and water consumption within buildings. This will help us to determine the performance of that building compared with factors such as outside temperature and occupancy, identify the potential for energy saving and to monitor the impact of energy efficiency initiatives.
