Georgina is the project co-ordinator for the TEAMPLAY project - Parents and children partnering for healthy lifestyles. The project aims to develop an 8-week parenting programme to help parents encourage their 6-8 year old children to be more active.

Georgina completed a BSc with first Class Honours degree in Nutrition and Health (2005) and graduated with distinction from the University of Bristol in 2008 with an MSc in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Public Health.  She has been working in the Centre for Exercise, Nutrition and Health Sciences since 2007 on various projects including Project OPAL (Older People and Active Living),  Project TREAD, AVONet (jointly with the University of Bath) and analysis of Bristol PCTs Slimming World on referral scheme.
