Dr Leah Tether receives Arts Faculty Research Internship
29 June 2017
Dr Leah Tether has been offered an Arts Faculty Research Internship, which will allow her to employ Bex Lyons to carry out a project on medieval texts published by Penguin between the 1960s and 1990s. Over the course of this summer, Bex will explore the Penguin Archive at the University of Bristol Library to better understand the drivers and motivators behind these editions. The project aims to illuminate how and why Penguin Classics, originally intended for a general readership, have come to be used as academic texts. The Department sends its warmest congratulations to Leah and Bex on their award for this fascinating project.
