Stacey McDowell is in her first year of research at the department of English, having just finished her MA at Bristol. She has won second prize for an essay in a competition organised by the Keats-Shelley Memorial Association.
The Keats-Shelley Prize is an annual competition organised by the Keats-Shelley Memorial Association. They award first and second prize in the poetry competition and the essay competition. Stacey was runner up in the essay prize - she received £500 and the essay will be published in next year's Keats-Shelley Review. The awards ceremony takes place on Wednesday 28th October.
