Unit information
Unit option choices for the second and third year of a degree programme are made by students in May at the end of their first and second year. The School Office will notify you by e-mail of the procedure for making your choices and the deadline by which you should return the form for this.
In order to make your choice you should view the Unit Descriptions below. The descriptions contain an outline of the unit, methods of assessment and essential reading, and should be used when you come to take a particular unit. The descriptions may be printed off from the web.
You will need to complete either a Year 2 option form or a Year 3 option form and return this in hard copy to the School Office by the notified deadline. Please do not email the form.
For Year 3 students taking English dissertations you will need to complete an English dissertation form. Please also see the document English dissertation information.
For Year 3 students taking English/Classical Studies dissertations you will need to complete an English/Classical Studies dissertation form. Please also see the document English/Classical Studies dissertation information.
