Entry requirements

The aim of the pre-sessional course(s) are to provide you with tuition so you can demonstrate a level of academic English and study skills needed by the University of Bristol. The following are minimum IELTS scores that we need to make you an offer on our pre-sessional programmes.

You can apply for the pre-sessional course you feel is most appropriate for you (by ticking the relevant box on your online Offer Letter for your postgraduate degree. You can find more application information on our how to apply page.). If CELFS staff feel you have applied for the wrong pre-sessional course, we will contact you by email.
