ACCIS PhD thesis receives EU CleanSky award

Bristol Composites Institute (ACCIS) Research Associate Rainer Groh has won a European prize for his PhD thesis.
ACCIS congratulates Rainer Groh who has been awarded a Clean Sky Academy Award for Best PhD Thesis in Applied Sciences and Engineering for Aeronautics for his PhD "Non-classical effects in straight-fibre and tow-steered composite beams and plates". Rainer will be travelling to Berlin later this month to receive his award at the ILA Berlin Air Show.
