The Inside Track to Willmott Dixon and their work on the Engineering Growth Project (including a site tour of the New Wing)

Paul Rice, Construction Manager at Willmott Dixon, will give an insight into the company and reference some of the projects they have worked on. Willmott Dixon are the main contractor for the major extension to the Queen’s Building as part of the Engineering Growth Project. Students will hear more about this project and also be given a tour of the New Wing during the session.

*Site tour* Willmott Dixon will provide hard hats, high-viz and gloves and you will be expected to wear sensible footwear (potentially wellies as the site is likely to be muddy). Please no short trousers, dresses or skirts to be worn.

Places are limited to 40 students so sign-up via the Eventbrite page.

For an hour after the lecture, the Faculty of Engineering Employability Adviser Gareth Hughes (Careers Service) will be available in the Pugsley Lecture Theatre Foyer (Queen's Building) for students to drop in and talk about anything careers related, including any queries, CV advice and how to access further support.
 
The Inside Track Lecture series is aimed primarily at students - speakers from a range of industries will share their inside knowledge. All lectures will be followed by a Question & Answer session, a chance to meet the speaker(s) over drinks and a related LinkedIn discussion.
