The Inside Track Lecture on Revitalising New Product Development

Venue: 1.15 Queen's Building. Speaker: Sian James, Mabey

Sian James, Head of Innovation at Mabey Holdings Limited, will deliver a talk titled 'Revitalising New Product Development'. She will cover her background as an engineer and working in New Product Development as well as offering an insight into the innovative Mabey Modular Bridging solutions.  Using the example of ‘reinventing the bridge', Sian will discuss the culture, tools and techniques for a successful NPD environment, the holistic approach to NPD and the role of the engineer.

The Inside Track Lecture series is aimed primarily at students - speakers from a range of industries will share their inside knowledge. All lectures will be followed by a Question & Answer session, a chance to meet the speaker(s) over drinks and a related LinkedIn discussion.
