By developing her proposed research project, Polly hopes to examine more closely how international students develop academic literacy, and the contexts which both help and hinder this process.
“It is very important to me that my research project contributes to the body of knowledge in this area, but also that it provides meaningful insights into students’ lived experiences, and changes in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and university practices.”
