Professor Crossley is Editor of Comparative Education, one of the oldest international peer reviewed journals in the field. This quarterly journal is now in its 44th year of publication, is hosted in ICS and is included in the Social Sciences Citation Index. In addition, Brigid Walker is Co-ordinating Editor.
Dr McNess and Professor Crossley are members of the Editorial Board for Compare - the journal of the British Association for International and Comparative Education (BAICE).
Professor Leon Tikly and Professor Crossley are members of the Editorial Board for the International Journal of Educational Development (IJED) - a journal that focusses primarily upon the developing world with an emphasis upon the implications of research for educational development theory and policy.
Professor Crossley is a Consulting Editor for the International Review of Education. This journal is published by Springer in association with the UNESCO Institute for Education in Hamburg, Germany. He is also a founding member of the Editorial Board for Research in Post-Compulsory Education.
Professor Osborn is a member of the Editorial Board for Politiques d'Education et de Formation.
Professor Tikly is a member of the editorial boards for the journals Ethnicities and the South African Journal of Education.
