Project team strategy
The main aim of the project: To describe the response to and implementation of the 14-19 educational reform programme in schools and colleges.
To meet this aim, these are some of the strategic objectives:
Centre and stakeholders
- To understand the schools and colleges well enough to adequately reflect the impact of the reform programme
- To give a sense of the diversity of strategies and concerns in schools and colleges
- To develop strong and enduring links with schools and colleges
- To link findings with the literature on change management in education
Policy
- To deliver high quality, state-of-the-art, policy-relevant research on the 14 -19 reforms
- To understand the policy reforms adequately to pick up on the nuanced effects they may have in schools and colleges
- To maintain positive, professional working relationships with policy-makers
