Hear Helen Pankhurst tell the story of women’s rights
3 May 2018
The School of Education will be proudly hosting a lecture by Dr Helen Pankhurst, granddaughter of Sylvia Pankhurst and great granddaughter of Emmeline Pankhurst, on Friday 11th May.
She will be charting the development of women’s lives over the last century as well as looking back at the suffragette movement. Helen, a woman’s rights activist herself, will be looking at the past and present to see how women can achieve equality in the future.
The lecture has been organised by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law International Development and Gender Research Groups, the School of Education and the Cabot Institute.
