Applications open for new course, ‘Changing Education: A Pathway to Further Study’
20 August 2018
A new course ‘Changing Education: A Pathway to Further Study’ will be taught at the School of Education, starting in October 2018.
Interested in making sense of the cluttered, complex education system in England today and considering how things could be different? Then this is the course for you!
‘Changing Education: A Pathway to Further Study’ aims to be a lively, positive and confidence-building experience for anyone over 18 returning to study. The course will draw on participants' and tutors' experiences, social and conventional media, research projects and other sources, to inform our debate and discussions in class. It offers the opportunity to progress to an undergraduate degree or other further study.
The course will be led by Dr Lucy Wenham, with contributions from a range of subject experts and advice and support on applying for further study at Bristol or elsewhere.
The course will run on 14 Tuesday evenings, 6 pm to 9 pm, from Tuesday 30 October 2018 (with a break over the Christmas period).
Deadline for applications is 14 September 2018.
