Students participating in a Science lesson
The HP-funded E-Scapes consortium at the University of Bristol has identified practical and theoretical obstacles to the use of digital media technology in science classrooms. They have developed training schedules and materials to train the new teachers to overcome these obstacles and get their students to use digital media production in their routine teaching.

The project is working with trainee science teachers on the PGCE course in the University of Bristol. These students will be carrying out E-Scapes projects (producing and using digital media in science classrooms) in the late Spring and early summer 2012. They will be working and sharing their experiences on the E-Scapes website during this time.
The University is a member of the E-Scapes consortium, along with Adobe, Futurelab, Imagine-ed, Science.tv, ScienceScope and Science Learning Centre South West.
