Engagement Bites: From the lab into Schools and Museums

29 November 2017, 1.00 PM - 29 November 2017, 2.00 PM

Seminar Room, Beacon House, Queen's Road, Bristol, BS8 1SE

Do you want to know how to develop activities and partnerships with schools or museums?

Join engineers Mihai Caleap and Asier Marzo to hear about how their interest in Open Science and sharing their research more widely started their experience in public engagement. From designing long term projects for young STEM enthusiasts in schools to creating exciting activities for adults and children alike with local science centre We The Curious, 2017 has been packed with engagement. Mihai and Asier will share their experiences of working in partnership with schools and museums and demo their DIY Tractor Beam!

The talk will take place on Wednesday 29 November from 1-2pm at Beacon House - feel free to bring your lunch!
