The University of Bristol’s GSoE Doctoral Conference is an annual two-day conference hosted by research students at the Graduate School of Education.

More information and book your place.

The conference theme for this year is Transforming Research in Education. This is a challenge to make us think and reflect on the possibilities for research to transform education, while at the same time to encourage the results of that research to help transform the area for which it serves.

Research that is unable to transform education and therefore unable to transform itself arguably has no purpose. How do educational researchers disseminate their findings into the educational world? What are the new ways of researching in education? How does educational research become practice?

We invite delegates from all areas of educational research and at any stage of their research projects to share their experiences in connection to the main theme and through the forms of presentations, posters, round table discussions and symposia.
